Ever since Taylor Swift began her Eras tour, the internet has been flooded with photos and video snippets of her dazzling performances, enthusiastic fans, and friendship bracelets. The chart-topping, record-breaking singer has always had spectacular concerts and the recent Eras tour is no exception. Complete with outstanding stage design, visuals, backup dancers, and her band, the three-hour show contains more than forty songs and numerous costume changes.
From a fashion perspective, it has been thrilling to watch Taylor on the stage rocking everything from sparkly dresses and princess ballgowns to beautiful bodysuits and t-shirts, representing the themes of her albums. Each of them has been custom-made by famed designers and fashion houses including Zuhair Murad, Versace, Balmain, Roberto Cavalli, and more.
Regardless of the color or silhouette of the costumes, the one constant element has been shimmer — lots of it! Completing most of the bejeweled looks have been more glittering shoes by Christian Louboutin. Since it’s the end of the year and time for everything sparkly, we thought it would be a great idea to round out some of our favorite Taylor Swift Eras tour outfits. Take a look!
1. The “Fearless” fringe dress
Swift donned her best dress by Roberto Cavalli as she performed a few songs from her album Fearless. The gold fringe dress was reminiscent of a similar look the designer created for her Speak Now Tour in 2011. She paired the look with Christian Louboutin boots and a bedazzled guitar. The gold color scheme nodded to Fearless, as both the original album and Fearless (Taylor’s Version) had a gold color scheme.
2. The pink princess ballgown
The singer performed “Enchanted” in a pink Zuhair Murad ball gown. The crystals on this beautiful piece created a starburst shape in the center of the bodice, which crisscrossed in the back. The ball gown was made of tulle and adorned with sequins.
3. The “22” T-shirt
At the beginning of her Red set, Swift recreated her iconic look from her “22” music video, in which she wears shiny white t-shirts featuring lyrics from her songs. This look was finished off with black shorts and a fedora. All the Red segment costumes have been custom-made by Ashish.
4. The “1989” embellished skirt set
The crop top and skirt sets from the 1989 segment have all been created by Fausto Puglisi of Roberto Cavalli. These were made in four different colors including hot pink and green, and of course, had crystals and fringe all over that had been applied by hand. All these elements are a nod to Swift’s 2015 tour for the same album, as she often wore sparkles and coordinating sets.
5. The “Reputation” snake jumpsuit
Swift slithered into a Roberto Cavalli catsuit as she performed her Reputation set on stage. The outfit, which featured an intricate pattern resembling snakes intertwined down the one long leg of the ensemble, was reminiscent of the many bodysuits Swift wore during her Reputation Stadium Tour as it was covered in black sequins that looked like scales.
6. The dreamy pastel “Lover” bodysuit
As the singer opened the show with the Lover set, she wore a custom Atelier Versace bodysuit adorned in pink and blue jewels, reflecting the dreamy pink and blue skies featured on the album’s artwork. She paired the look with shimmering knee-high boots and a bedazzled microphone. Later during her Las Vegas show, she added a Versace “La Vacanza” flower necklace to the ensemble.
7. The earthy “Folklore” tiered dress
Among the Taylor Swift Eras tour outfits, here’s an Alberta Ferretti dress in an off-white hue covered in crystal embroidery. The gown’s flowing, cape-like sleeves were made for twirling. This stunning piece also included “delicate crystal and micro-beading” in addition to the layers of fabric.
8. The cottagecore “Evermore” dress
Taylor went for a whimsical look as she performed various songs from her album Evermore in a yellow Etro dress that featured a corset top and beading detail down the front. For her charming performance of “Willow,” she added a matching Etro cape.
9. The woodland fairy “Folklore” dress
During night one in Tampa, she wore yet another Alberta Ferretti dress for her Folklore set. This look was in bright green featuring a plunging neckline, mesh detailing, and leaf embroideries that matched up to the forest vibes of the set.
10. The “Midnights” blue bodysuit and the “Lavender Haze” look
Swift closed her concert with songs from her latest album Midnights. Oscar de la Renta designed her custom midnight blue bodysuit. Another pair of custom Louboutin boots completed the outfit. Layers of sequins and fringe covered the bodysuit and flowed onto the legs. According to the fashion house, the outfit was hand-adorned with over 5,300 beads and crystals. As for the beginning of this set, she wore a crystal t-shirt dress with a lavender fur coat, all created by Oscar de la Renta.
